Terms & Conditions
By submitting an entry to the Tampa Bay Coffee & Art Festival Poetry Contest,
you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Contest Overview
The Tampa Bay Coffee & Art Festival Poetry Contest invites poets to submit
original poetry for consideration. One First Place winner will receive a $250 cash
prize, and the top 8 poems will be published in the event -related poetry booklet.
2. Organizer
This contest is organized by Tampa Bay Coffee & Art Festival.

3. Eligibility
The contest is open to anyone. To be eligible, entrants must:

Pay the required application/reading fee
4. Entry Fee
Each submission requires an application fee, which includes:

The reading fee●
One ticket to the event
All Reading Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the organizer.
5. Submission Deadline
All entries must be submitted by September 20th.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
6. Submission Limits
Entrants may submit up to 5 poems total.
If submitting more than one poem, all poems must be combined into one PDF
document, with one poem per page.
7. Formatting Requirements
Each submitted poem must comply with the following requirements:

Maximum 100 characters per line
Maximum 20 lines per poem
Submissions that exceed these limits may be disqualified or rejected at the
organizer’s discretion.
8. File Requirements

Multiple poems must be uploaded as one PDF
●
Each poem must appear on its own page
●
Files that are unreadable, incomplete, corrupted, or submitted in the wrong
format may be rejected
9. Originality and Authorship
By entering, you confirm that:●

Each poem submitted is your original work
You own the rights to the work you submit
Your submission does not infringe on the rights of any other person or
entity
●
Previously published poems are allowed.
●
AI-generated poems are prohibited. Any submission found to be
AI-generated, in whole or in part, will be disqualified at the organizer’s
discretion.
10. Judging and Awards
All eligible submissions will be reviewed by the contest organizers and/or
designated judges.
●
First Place Prize: $250 cash
●
Publication: Top 8 poems will be published in the Tampa Bay Coffee & Art
Festival event -related poetry booklet
All judging decisions are final.
11. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted prior to the event.
12. Publication Rights
By submitting to this contest, you grant Tampa Bay Coffee & Art Festival
permission to publish selected poems in the event -related poetry booklet and to
use the poem title, poet name, and submitted work for contest -related
promotional, event, and publication purposes.
All other rights remain with the author unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Event Ticket TermsThe application fee includes one ticket to the event.
This ticket is not transferable.
14. Acceptance of Entries
The festival reserves the right to reject, disqualify, or remove any submission
that:

Does not follow the submission guidelines
●
Contains unlawful, abusive, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or otherwise
inappropriate content
●
Violates these Terms & Conditions
●
Is determined to be AI-generated
15. No Guarantee of Selection
Submission of an entry and payment of the application fee do not guarantee
selection for publication, placement, or award.
16. Liability
Tampa Bay Coffee & Art Festival is not responsible for:

Lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or corrupted submissions
Technical issues with file uploads, online forms, or payment processing
Any indirect or consequential damages arising from participation in the
contest
17. Changes and Cancellation
The organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions, the contest
structure, publication plans, prize details, or event details if necessary. The
organizer also reserves the right to cancel the contest if circumstances require.
18. AgreementBy entering the Tampa Bay Coffee & Art Festival Poetry Contest, you
acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms &
Conditions.
